Tds notice

Three years back I had debited tds and deposited to the dept properly. However 3 years later it came to d knowledge of the deductee that the pan he had given to me was incorrect. so I revised my return (after 3 years). But nw I hav recd a notice from dept for tds default. How is this possible? Please help. Thanks in advance

Request your TDS circle ITO with correct details and ask for the correction

yes. it should be effect your deductee as well. need to intimate the ITO for the same
