26 June 2016 hello, my brother is working in MNC,last year he switched his job during the last 2 months of financial year ..so the later company has paid salary of Rs.2 lacs for last 2-3 month approx and has not deducted tds and has not even issued form 16 so will be correct if I don't show that salary in the return. if I don't show the income in the return what will be the further consequences he will have to face apart from interest

26 June 2016 Show the salary of the new employer....2-3 months...whatever....
and pay the self assessment tax along with interest if any....
a person earning around a lakh of rupees per month or so......getting a notice from Income Tax department is HUMILIATING...especially in the atmosphere of NEW employer.
