Tds has been paid in wrong sections

30 September 2013 Hello sir,

We have deducted TDS from salary but at the time of making payment it has been paid under section 194J instead of 192 by mistake and we have been making this mistake from 6 months.


Can any one help?.

01 October 2013 now you cannot give correction for challan. you can pay the tds in correct section and adjust the TDS paid in 194J with further deductions
