TDS Difference ( Tax Paid less Tax Deducted )

02 November 2020 Respected Sirs,
The issue is related with the Q-4 Fy 19-20
Suppose TDS paid is Rs 10,000
Less TDS to be deducted and paid is Rs 1,000

Whether Differential amount of TDS as of Rs 9,000 will go to the column of ( Other )

What will we do with the said TDS as of Rs 9,000

Can we claim refund of the said TDS as of Rs 9,000

or

can it be used during any quarter for any of the coming financial years such as fy 20-21, 21-22, 22-23 and so on.

Please guide me and oblige.

04 November 2020 You can apply online refund, you have to approach tds circle, you can adjust 2020-21 one year back for demand or ahead future return not for 2021-23

Tks for your guideline.

First of all I would like to confirm whether Differential amount of TDS as of Rs 9,000 will go to the column of ( Other ) as I have to revise the TDS Return and I am confused as in which column the excess tds paid shall be filled up. I have simply guessed the excess tds paid shall be filled up in the column of Others but still I am not very sure about it. Please guide me and oblige.
