Tds deduction of educational institution

14 November 2017 we are a registered society and our main business is educating school students.our only source of income is from tuition fees , but we have to spend the same for giving salary to the teachers and staff . so, why are we compelled to deduct TDS? can there be any other option , so that we are not liable to deduct TDS?please suggest.

14 November 2017 you can ask these professors/teachers to apply to their respective income tax officers and get a letter from these income tax officers in your favour stating NOT TO DEDUCT TAX.

20 November 2017 can this be applied through the organisation not to deduct the tax at the time of giving salary?

20 November 2017 so long as you get the mandate from Income Tax department NOT to deduct tax, this can be applied in every section.

20 November 2017 the respective employee shall get the certificate from the respective jurisdictional ITO.

21 November 2017 is there any format to apply to the AO by the assesse?

21 November 2017 go for form 13.
application to be made by the assessee who desires that TDS should not be done in his/her case.
If ITO is satisfied, s/he directly writes a letter to the payer permitting NOT to deduct tax
