Dear friends i had a small doubt about tds i.e why given basic exemption limit for salaried employees for deduction of tds as the same but not given to others like contractors commission agents Etc....

There are relax to contractors also. Check limit for one time pay and accumulated pay to contractors.

There are limits specified for one time pay and accumulated pay to contractors also. Further, business person will recalculate payable tax on year end and tax deducted earlier will be settled in this.
