26 April 2019 Recently one person came to me for TDS credit claim and file return .he gave information for past 17-18 to 18-19 made many fixed deposit unfortunately not submit Pan or 15G/H so that such period more TDS are detected . recent day only banks intimate to him about TDS claim and there is no notice from income tax department .so that how to handle past years claim .

26 April 2019 bank revised the TDS return with your PAn and then you can file revised return.

27 April 2019 First ask the Banker to file correction return for the TDS deduction in the Required Quarters of ETDS returns already filed by them by updating his PAN. Because for Not giving of PAN, banker might deduct TDS @20% on FD Interest. Then check his 26AS after a week of time for the entries. Being no 26AS entries in earlier, there would be no notice serviced. For FY 2018-19 you may file his ITR as more time available. But for FY 2017-18, if no ITR has been filed for him, then consult his AO. If ITR already filed, revised return can not be filed now.
