21 February 2019 Dear Sirs,
We have paid to PUBLIC INSTITUTION For research.They buy animals and do research on such animals of TB(Tuberculosis).
In my opinion it should be regarded as "JOB WORK".and we need to deduct TDS u/s 194J
1.Please clarify me whether i am getting wrong and Give ur VALUABLE FEEDBACK "with REASONS" .
2.IT is a service?Right Folks

21 February 2019 The company is engaged in TB Medicine research. The co.paid to Public Institute for such Research on behalf of company.
The Research is on animals for TB(Tuberculosis) to know whether the above formula of medicine has been workable or not,for this research the institute buy the animals and infect such animals to get the result and than they give the result to company whatever it may be.

21 February 2019 Dear Nikhil,
In my view TDS need to be deducted @ 10% under section 194J under Technical services provided by PSU to the co. Scope of 194C is limited to certain specific contracts which is in the nature of advertising, broadcasting, catering, transportation and order manufacturing. I hope it resolve your query.
