22 February 2010 What is the procedure to use tds deduction on any service tax payable amount. What's is the adjustemnt entry at the rtime of payment of service tax? is the TDS amount will be adjusted in Sevice tax input amount.

22 February 2010 Journal practice is Deduct tds on Total Amt. ie including Service tax. no adjustment entry required for service tax payment, Debited to Sevice tax payable a/c. TDS amt. is not adjustable for service tax input.
