TDS certificate Form 16 A

20 June 2009 What does law/rules says about a position when a party demands TDS certificate of a period for which we alreday issued such certificate & party says they are not in receipt of the same. In my case bill is of 26/09/2006 & we have already despatch it though we have no physical proof for this. What course of action we need to do:- 1) Issune new form 16A. 2) Reissue form 16 A with note that this is duplicate. 3)What is the date of issue of from 16A present date/original date of issue.
