14 December 2011 Hi Dear Frnds,

In Private Limited Company our Sales Statt's are getting Salary morethan 15,000/-PM. apart from this they are getting monthly basis Mobile & fuel allowences. My query is wheather TDS is applicable or not for above this Staff's. Please suggest me.

14 December 2011 If their taxable salary exceeds 180000/- than you are required to deduct TDS. In respect of Mobile and fuel exp if it is in the nature of Allowance than it is to be added to taxable salary. however if it is in the nature of reimbursement of expenses done on behalf of company it should not be taken into account while computing taxable salary.
