Is there any TDS laibility in case supplier is raising Invoice for Printed Letter Heads i.e. supplying letter heads and also printing comapny name/logo...

07 July 2010 W. e. f. 01.10.09 TDS not deductible on manufacturing or supplying a product according to the requirement or specification of a customer by using material purchased from a person, other than such customer.

So if u did not supply the paper for the letterhead then no need to deduct TDS otherwise TDS deductible.

07 July 2010 But Circular No. 175 specifically provide to deduct TDS on printed Material...Material is not supplied by us...I think taht should prevail...clarify?

07 July 2010 Please read section 194C after amendment by the Finance (No. 2) Act 2009.

Then reply on the above matter. Section 194C has been amended and TDS not liable for the same.
