Our company is paying lease rent to the Bar license which we had taken on lease.
Pls let me know the section under which tds is applicable? 194 J or 194 I at 10%

02 August 2011 Section 194I applicable only the rent or lease for use of building,plant& machinery, furniture,equipment so Bar license not covered under 194I. give the exact nature of payment details

The company has taken the bar licence from some individual and for this using the license company paying Rs. 50,000 per month to the owner of the licence

Pl clarify the section for TDS
