04 January 2011 Sirs.
I am a shareholder of a Co-Op.Bank. in which i have open a fixed deposit a/c of Rs.1 lac.

Interest on Quarterly basis and bank does not deducted TDS

On which section they not deducted TDS

04 January 2011 if the interest on FD paid during the whole financial year is less than Rs. 10000/-, the they are not required to deduct TDS.
