Dear friends
My 26 AS shows credit of 20000. Actually Rs.10000 is correct. It shows extra RS.10000. I verified my accounts and come to a conclusion that someone's amount credited in my account. I have three questions 1. Shall claim Rs.20000 or Rs.10000. 2) If the AO asks about the income what should I do. 3) If i dont take that credit of that extra amount my account and 26AS will not tally.

There are cases where the assessee is unaware of his/her income and some one has done TDS....Please checck the same in your case also, before jumpig on to any conclusion.
Once you are sure about your contention, inform the wrong credit in your to the concerned TDS officer. This will prove to be a good governance as an Indian Citizen.
And then claim only the legitimate and due amount of your very own share of TDS....in your return of income
