06 January 2015 vat and tds are 2 seperate concepts.

Tds is applicable in service based transactions.

While vat is chargeable on goods based transactions.

Our own brand name is put on the bag , he gave vat bill
now what my question is it applicable for tds.

here tds applicable for those bills.

06 January 2015 yes then tds to be deducted on gross value including vat and only on service tax amount no tds is deducted.
