Dear sir,
This is to inform you that we cut tds and paid the same in stipulated time .We filed last year tds return(4 Quarters) on 20/07/2013.Now we could know from auditor that we will be fined for late filing of returns.Unfortunately we were not aware about this matter. We have not received any intimation letter from concerned department. Please tell me sir whether we will be fined and is there any chance to appeal?Whether the circular will be repealed.

The Late Fee Provision is against the Public Policy.
