30 April 2010 We are IT company in business of software development.

We make software on demand as well as we have few readymade software under our trade mark.

Please tell me about taxation, wheather both service tax and sale tax chargeable on us or not ?

Please give refrences in support of your answer

30 April 2010 for sale of readymade software only VAT would be applicable but for software on demand both taxes (Service Tax and VAT)would be applicable.
