I am a software Engineer working at a Co. in B'lore.I have been to US for 4 months on Project work.I recd salary in USA & also from my Company in Bangalore. Is both income Taxable?

Yes, the total salary income is taxable in India as your status remained as "Resident" for the purpose of IT.

The expert is correct as you are in India for more than 182 days in a year and hence both the salaries are taxable in India
