We have constructed house property by taking mortgage loan and given on rent, now my question is whether We can claim interest paid on mortgage loan as deduction from rent income ??

02 May 2018 Interest in respect to the loan amount exclusively used for the purpose of construction of the let out property can be claimed as deduction.

03 May 2018 Supporting Documents-Property Documents and Payment Details , Mortgage Loan Account Showing Balance at the end of the year and containg the details as regards the disbursed amount, withdrawals, interest , repayment details etc, Bank Statement/Pass Book showing the property payment details.
