Do we calculate VAT (5%) on Basic Material amount or if we charge freight/Packing & Forwarding/Other Charges/Inspection charges in the invoice, shall we include this amount as taxable amount. please reply.

Generally vat is chargeable on basic price plus the expenses incurred such as packing and forwarding, freight, etc.

its depending on the state vat act in haryana you have to charge tax on freight on cst sale .
