Whether monthly pension(Uncommuted) recieved from Western railways, a government of India undertaking is taxable under the head salaries?

Yes, it will be taxable under the head Income from Salaries.
However, Family Pension receivable by any member of the deceased employee will be taxable under the head IFOS.
