Taxability of income from foreign employment

10 June 2020 Hi,

My husband is on the payrolls of a singapore company since april 2020, but due to lockdown, he has not been able to open a salary account in singapore bank, thus he wants to receive the salary in Indian bank account.

Pls advise how this income would be taxed ? Is it advisable for him to get the salary in indian bank account.

10 June 2020 Not advisable wait and open bank account in Singapore. Such direct transfer to Indian Bank account not taxable but tax department may raise dispute.
