19 February 2010 Tax slab for F.Y. 2010-11 will be anounced in budget.
for F.y. 2009-10, it is for individuals
upto 160000 nil
160000-300000 10%
300000-500000 20%
over 500000 30%
in addition 3% edu. cess

for ladies basic exemption is 190000 & for senior citizen it is 240000/- & other tax slab is same as individuals
