23 March 2015 The assessee has expired. Legal heir had filed the ROI as representative assessee and surrendered PAN to the department. There are some tax refunds due. What is the procedure to claim the same? Google couldn't help me in this :'(

23 March 2015 then the itr already filed shall have to be revised provided the itr was filed in time as per sec 139(1).

it is not correct to immedieatly suurender the pan , it must have been kept for some time
