Hi, my father passed away in june 2008. I have recently received a letter from the IT dept regarding some queries in relation to my fathers IT returns for the year 07-08.
I am absolutely unaware of his finances and so is my mom. What should we do?

Continuing Mr Varun,there can be no valid proceddings against a dead person.It is for this reason that the law provides for proceedings to be continued against legal representatives.
