Dear Sir,
I am individual assessee and need to pay my service tax. Can I pay it by manual challan at bank
or
it is mandatory to pay service tax only online method.

yes you can pay tax by manual challan .

It is not mandatory to pay service tax on line. But there is difference of one day i due date, you can pay service tax on 6th instead of 5th if you pay on line
