Tax liability on outsourcing of mobile applications

11 July 2014 Dear sir/madam,

One of my client has income of outsourcing mobile applications. is it covered under any service tax liability. is there any other tax liability other than income tax? Also suggest me any benefit available as he is exporting mobile applications and receiving payment in foreign currency.

11 July 2014 such service is taxable only when the gross income exceeds rs 10 lakhs.

12 July 2014 IS SERVICE TAX PAYABLE TO SERVICE PROVIDER WHEN HE IS MAKING APPLICATIONS FOR FOREIGN PARTY. PLEASE PROVIDE ME THE RATE OF SERVICE TAX APPLICABLE.
