01 November 2011 A public welfare society has been registered under the registration of firms and societies act. society operates a school. school earns net income Rs. 235900/- for the financial year 2010-11. how much income tax liability will arise ?

07 November 2011 In case the Society is not Registered U/s 12A of the Income Tax Act , in my view its income is not exempt U/s 11 or 12 as a charitable institution.
