Tax liabilities of disclosuer of income after notice u/s 143

26 June 2013 dear sir,
my client hes been received notice u/s 143(2)for his return of incometax of a.y.2011-12 filed on 08/08/2011.and paid incometax for same with return.now after checking his records i have come to know that some other income not shown in return of incometax like( pension,fdr int.& bank int.total of Rs.31263.tax on it rs.3150.what should i do.?can he pay tax before attend to ito.or can he disclose his other income at ito?

26 June 2013 If income is not taken in the return of income at the filing and subsequently receives notice u/s 143(2) for scrutiny assessment, such income can be disclosed at the time of assessment before ITO & tax on it can be paid now

26 June 2013 dear sharma sir,

intimationu/s/143(1) has been received for return of a.y.2011-12 bebore notice u/s/143(2),though tax can be paid now ?

26 June 2013 dear pankaj, intimation 143(1) doesn't refer to start of assessment proc. it is just an intimation of dept review of ur return filed
