Tax implication

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
Transferring shares between two portfolio manager demat accounts is generally not a taxable event as no sale has occurred. However, if your portfolio manager is showing these transfers as sales and booking capital gains, it's crucial to clarify this discrepancy. This might indicate a misunderstanding or an incorrect booking by the manager.
