14 June 2015 whether registration required for starting a tax consultancy office? and what are procedures to be followed?

14 June 2015 As such NO.....you can very well start a tax consultancy practice.

However, it is advisable to get yourself registered as ITP (Income Tax Practitioneer) u/s 288 of the Income Tax Act.

Procedure is simple. You need to apply to concerned Commissioneer of Income Tax of your jurisdiction.

14 June 2015 now i am a CA final student so any problem arises to me either now or in future by starting consultancy office

30 June 2015 you can very well do it once your articleship is over. Get yourself registered with the Commissioneer of Income Tax of the area of your jurisdiction. All the best.
