Tax audit procedure to be followed by member

20 February 2013 i want to know that on signing 45 tax audit reports in a year whether any member is required to give information about the same to institute?further how institute will come to know that only 45 tax audits reports have been signed by particular member and not more than that?

20 February 2013 There is no information to be submitted to ICAI.

Since tax audit cases have to use e-file option and PAN of auditor is required to be mentioned in the ITR, there would be some tracking by IT dept and which also can be used by ICAI if required.

20 February 2013 Earlier It Was Not Trackable.
But From This Year, It Will Be.

Since At Time of appointment of Auditor, You Need to intimate to IT Dept.
Changes in IT Site.
