14 November 2014 In tax Audit i Already add CA, but Now it is shown as Inactive. Sir , How can convert CA Status From Inactive to Active.

14 November 2014 you have the option of "Dis-engage CA" in My Account Tab..and then add again...if it doesnt resolve, ask the CA to check his status with ICAI.

14 November 2014 sir, when i dis-engage CA, Message is Showing that " No CA Details is Available" But sir i Already Add CA.

14 November 2014 If income tax site is asking a question like this " Form 3CA/3CB is already linked to CA. Would you like to add another CA?",

Then you can click yes button, and u can also add the same CA for filing the tax audit of that client.

26 July 2025 Exactly! When the Income Tax portal shows **"Form 3CA/3CB is already linked to CA. Would you like to add another CA?"**, you can safely click **Yes** and add the same CA again.

This will reactivate the CA for that tax audit engagement in your profile. The portal sometimes treats this as a new addition even if the CA was previously added but shown as inactive.

If you still face issues after this, ask the CA to verify their status with ICAI, as sometimes the problem is from the CA’s registration side.

So, your best bet is to:

1. Click **Yes** to add the same CA again.
2. Check if the status changes to active.
3. If not, get the CA to confirm their ICAI registration and status.
