Dear All,
One of my client( Resident but not ordinary resident) is getting salary income from USA and the services is rendered from India.
My clients are getting the salary Income after deducting applicable payroll taxes in USA .
my query is whether the above Salary income received by my clients is taxable in India ?.
In my opinion , Since the service is rendered from India , Salary income from USA is taxable in the hands of Resident but not ordinary resident.
Pls provide your valuable feedback

Since services are being rendered in India hence TDS shall be deducted in India and not in US .
Yes the salary is taxable in India.

If in the same case , instead of salary, if he receives Professional income , then what is the tax applicability?
If tax is paid in USA, can we claim double tax benefits?

Then in that case TDS shall be not be deducted in US.
