i have convert my proprietorship into partnership, i already have TAN in proprietorship,what to do with it.
surrender and take new TAN
or
Correction in name.
please specify the relevent section or provision no., so i can check in law.

TAN number will be allotted based each assesse based on their status under Income tax. since the partnership and proprietorship is differ status under income tax and constitution also different, so apply for new TAN for partnership
