i want to restrict back dated voucher alteration in tally. if back dated entry is restricted by using security control in tally user cannot open a back dated invoice. he should be able to open a invoice to view but should not be able to alter it. is it possible?

yes. it is possible. your restrict only alter option and keep open display option
