19 May 2014 Dear sir/Madam, plz tell me the process of taking permission of new godown with existing godown from excise department we are registered as a dealer ? Thanks Gyanendra

20 May 2014 A dealer having more than one godown in the same town can register with superintendent having jurisdiction over the business premises but shall give details of all godowns. In case of cities like Mumbai and Kolkata where there are more than one commissionerates, the dealer should register himself with the range superintendent having jurisdiction over his office premises but will lodge a copy of RC registration certificate with range officers having jurisdiction over his godowns located in other commissionerates.
