20 May 2014 Hi, My question is that I have completed 2 years of my articleship and have got an opportunity for Industrial Training with a reputed organisation but my principal employer is not allowing me to join there at the IT job for the reason that I have not completed my current ongoing work and not given a handover of my assignments to some other person.

Can he refuse to sign the papers for the simple reason that I have not given the handover of my work to someone else being in my articleship period even after informing my immediate superior 3 months ago that I am looking forward for IT?

Also is there a provision that I cannot consider the period of extension for serving IT?

Please advise as soon as possible.

Thanks...

20 May 2014 i hope it has been resolved as suggested over pm.
