Dear User,
U have to give the details with written application and supporting.
Don't worry your name would not be disclosed but make sure to submit your application to the higher authorities
1. **Visit the Portal** โ Go to **Menu > File Complaint**. 2. You can choose:
* **"Complainant with PAN/Aadhaar"** (if you want to track or get a reward), or * **"Anonymous"** โ no personal details needed. 3. Fill in the **name and address of the person**, **nature of tax evasion**, **amount**, and **evidence you have**. 4. You can upload supporting documents (PDFs, images, etc.). 5. Submit the complaint. You will receive a reference number (if you chose to give basic info) for tracking.
You may send a **physical letter with details and proofs** to:
> **Director General of Income Tax (Investigation)** > Income Tax Department > (Address based on your local jurisdiction, e.g., Mumbai, Delhi, etc.) > Mark the envelope: **"Confidential โ Information on Tax Evasion"**
Ensure:
* You do **not include your own name or return address**. * Include as much detail and evidence as possible (names, PANs, property details, photos, etc.).

### โ **Option 3: Use Email (with caution)**
Some zones accept complaints over **dedicated email IDs** for black money reporting. For example:
Note: Emails may reveal your IP/location โ only use this if you are not concerned about anonymity.
