Query Regarding Error in Establishing Connection with Traces WebSocket eSigner

17 November 2025 An issue arises while attempting to establish a connection with the Traces WebSocket eSigner. Despite several attempts, unable to connect successfully. what is solution in this regard?

17 November 2025 - Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program
- Remove any existing TRACES WebSigner or emSigner utilities

- Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based)
- Ensure Java is installed and updated (if required by your DSC)

- Add WebSigner.exe to the allowed list in your antivirus or firewall settings

- Some users have resolved the issue by using Xorkee Signer and its G2C Chrome Extension, which is compatible with TRACES.
