Please specify the process of surrender of service tax registration

For surrender of ST Registration, please
visit http://www.aces.gov.in
Log on with ID & Password,
then see "REG" tab,
click on "SURRENDER" option.
Fill the last column's in the displayed ST-2 and
click submit.
Once online surrendering is done, take a print out and submit to jurisdictional
ST Range with Original ST-2 with a covering letter.

Thank You sir for your kind reply...... Sir I want to know further that what are the documents required to attach with physical submission of form. And what if firm have not filed any return yet .............

a) The print out as I said earlier.
b) A declaration stating that service tax liability,if any, arises shall be paid by you in due course.
c) Original ST-2 certificate.
N.B:- (i)Before surrendering the registration, pending returns( Form ST-3) has to be filed.
(ii) service tax dues ,if any, has to be paid in full.
