14 October 2011 i am here to know the process of surrendering our service tax no. because of we don't have any business on this no.

14 October 2011 You can log in to the site www.aces.gov.in and can surrender the registration there itself also.You would receive an auto generated mail regarding the confirmation of surrender.

14 October 2011 Registration surrendering has to be done through online.
Visit www.aces.gov.in
Create userid and password if not yet created.
login to the site.
click on 'REG'.
Click on 'surrender'.
click on 'registration number'.
fillup the last three columns in the ST-2 appearing therein.
click on 'surrender ST-2'.
On successful e-filing, take a print out sign and seal, enclose original ST-2 and file before the jurisdictional Superintendent under acknowledgement.

16 August 2013 I get registration number on service tax before 2005 now we don't have online ID or password so now what we do.

16 August 2013 Make a written request to the superintendent to allot user id and password. The request should contain the following details.

Name

STC No

Mobile No.

E mail id

Alternate email id.
