24 December 2011 ONE MY CLIENT HAS CLOSED HIS BUSINESS AND HE WATS TO SURRENDER HIS PAN, SO WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF SURRENDERING PAN?

24 December 2011 If the client was running business as a proprietor, he need not apply for cancellation of PAN.
.
In case of Firm, Dissolution deed, and PAN Card has to be submitted with the PAN Data Correction Application.

if you state the status in which the business was being carried on.
