I want to file ITR for AY 10-11 and 11-12 in response to the letter issued by the department for not filing the same.can i do so ?? and what about penalty of 271f ??pls suggest

IF YOUR INCOME DOES NOT EXCEED EXEMPTION LIMIT, YOU CAN RELY THE SAME TO THE DEPARTMENT THAT SINCE YOUE TOTAL INCOME WAS NOT EXCEEDING THE EXEMPTION LIMIT, YOU WERE NOT LAIBLE FOR FILING THE INCOME TAX RETURN
