My name is Nandita.Sir i have joined in articles and took transfer to other firm recently.But i have problem with my 102 form franking.will backdated franking is really available.Is there any chance in future icai asking the franking form 102??at the time of joining in new firm i didnot get franking on my new form 102 form but i submited my 103 to institute whether it will become a big problem in future??please solve my query

27 September 2014 back dated franking not possible. however, you can get a backdated stamp paper from a notary.

you may not face problem unless ICAI asks for a copy of Form 102 (which it can under peer review of your principle).

27 September 2014 For example date of termination 30th june.Franking on new 102 form is 26th july. sir whether it may effect my final attempt i.e., delay of 6 months

2. the CA final attempt shall also depend on the start date of the original articleship

27 September 2014 For example Original date of articles 25-4-14.termination date 30-6-14.franking on new 102 is on 26-7-14.whether it may effect final attemt??if so when franking should be done on new 102 form to avoid delay in attempt plz solve my query sir. And if total number of days worked with old auditor is only for 11 days.this to will effect my attemp?

27 September 2014 yes, if the original date is 25 april, then your finals attempt will shift from November 16 to May 17 under present circumstances..

27 September 2014 Sir if franking is in 1st week of july then also there will be delay in attempt?? sir i can i use back dated stamp paper in this case? back dated stamp is legal or illegal

27 September 2014 you wont get back dated franking.

stamp paper is also not strictly legal. but it can still be procured :)
