Sir/Ma'am Actually I want to ask whether it would be right to pay attention in two years of articleship towards gaining practical knowledge and rest of one year before exam towards studies only?
My senior has agreed to provide me leave for one year for my coaching and self study. The rest two years I am planning to dedicate to my Practical Knowledge. I have to take coaching for 5 subjects only. My attempt is in Nov 2013. Is this a feasible choice/plan?

Hey Rohit, your plan sounds quite practical and balanced!
Dedicating the first two years of your articleship to gaining hands-on practical knowledge is super important — it builds a strong foundation for your career. At the same time, it’s smart that you’re keeping in touch with your studies by reading law and audit books daily.
Taking a full year off for coaching and focused self-study right before exams can really help you consolidate everything without distractions. Just make sure during your articleship years you also stay connected to the theoretical side by:
* Reviewing small topics regularly * Attempting some practice questions here and there * Maybe even teaching or tutoring juniors, as suggested — it helps reinforce your own learning
This way, when the final study year arrives, you won’t be starting from zero and your practical experience will make understanding concepts easier.
So yes, your plan is definitely feasible and many students follow a similar approach successfully. How many subjects do you plan to take coaching for?
