Storage of goods outside factory premises under GST

16 February 2020 Do we need to pay GST for storage of goods outside factory premises. Also if E-Way bill is to generated. Do we need to take any permission or declaration of premises in GST registration is enough. Would the transactions of movement of goods (FG / RM from factory to Stogare location ) be considered as Unit Transfers if yes want would be the procedures.

16 February 2020 Tax has to be paid if the factory and the storage are in different states and transfer has been done. If in different states then separate registration is required. f in the same state then just need to add the place of storage as additional place of business.
