07 March 2014 stock statement is a statement reflecting the debtors, raw material and WIP position of the business as on the month end (normally). it is to be given to banks where banks are funding the working capital gap for the business. This sort of funding is called working capital finance and is normally in form of Cash credit, Pre-shipment and post shipment finance and is linked to the stock statement

07 March 2014 refer to the sanction letter. your stock position should be what it is. CC limit is not relevant to the stock position. it is the reverse, CC limit is reset every month on the basis of stock statement.

calculation of eligible stock is defined in the sanction letter itself.
