Queries re. online registration for Service tax at www.aces.gov.in website:
1. How does one file MOA [for cos],PAN No, address proof when registering online? Do we attach scanned copies or file separate ST-1 form physically along-with proofs?
2. How much time is taken to get ST reg no? Is reg certificate mailed to user?

You dont have to file any scanned copies.
Just fill in all the details there and take a print out of the said form.
That print out alongwith requisite documents like MOA,AOA, proofs is sent to the juridictional superintendent.

You will get the provisional number as soon as you complete the filing of the form.
Once you have submitted the form to the superintendent, he will issue you the certificate within 7 days.
